Dr Giselle Crawford
Dr Giselle Crawford is a Fertility Specialist with over 10 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She consults in Monash IVF’s Sydney CBD clinic.
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine (Honours) from the University of Newcastle. She obtained her Masters of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2013. Giselle is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She trained across both Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney) and Royal Hospital for Women (Sydney), with further experience acquired at the Homerton University Hospital (London).
Giselle is in the final stages of obtaining a Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. This is the highest recognised qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand. A CREI qualification involves an additional three years of training and passing examinations requiring an extensive knowledge of all areas of reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Giselle is committed to providing exceptional quality care to her patients. She understands that fertility treatment can be a challenging time in her patient’s lives, so she takes the time to provide patients with the information and emotional support they need to make informed decisions about their treatment.
Giselle is a highly motivated specialist, keeping up to date with the latest research and practices. She continually pursues professional development to ensure she provides her patients with the best possible evidence-based care. She is actively involved in research, with multiple published studies and ongoing research projects. She’s also passionate about education, with a special interest in the training of medical students and junior doctors.
