Professor Rombauts treats all causes of male and female infertility in a holistic way.

He offers microsurgery for tubal ligation and vasectomy reversals. He also has a special interest in advanced laparoscopic techniques, in particular the management of severe endometriosis.

Dr. Luk Rombauts provides personalised care at his consulting rooms in Richmond, Clayton, Frankston, Seymour and Mornington. He operates at the Epworth Hospital (Richmond and Hawthorn), Cabrini Hospital (Malvern), and Monash Surgical Private Hospital (Clayton) as part of the Monash IVF Group. Working with Monash IVF, Luk offers IVF procedures and is considered one of Melbourne's IVF leading Fertility Specialists.

Prof Rombauts obtained his Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) in 1998 and is now accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as a training supervisor for the CREI.

Prof Rombauts is the National Medical Director of Monash IVF and chairs its Medical Advisory Committee. He is also the Research Director of Monash IVF, he is the Head of Reproductive Medicine at Monash Health and holds an appointment as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash University. He is also a Research Fellow of the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, where he is conducting research funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council in the fields of endometriosis and embryo implantation.

Prof Rombauts is the Vice-President of the Fertility Society of Australia and serves as a board member with the World Endometriosis Research Foundation and the World Endometriosis Society for which he is the editor of the society's eJournal. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Fertility Society of Australia and the RANZCOG Research Foundation.

He has published several books and over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and was recently invited by Human Reproduction the highest ranking journal publishing original research in the field of reproductive medicine to become one of their associate editors.
