Meet Colin

Dr Colin Sabau is an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with over 20 years of experience.

Colin commenced his medical career in 1994 and has undertaken extensive training, both in Europe and Australia. He completed his general specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Monash and Eastern Health and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2012. In addition to his specialist training, Colin has completed a postgraduate Masters of Reproductive Medicine with the University of New South Wales and has undertaken advanced training in assessment and management of fertility with Monash IVF. His focus is in providing an evidence-based treatment of your fertility problems with friendly care and a compassionate manner.

He is an experienced Gynaecologist with an extensive range of skills in performing minimally invasive procedures for infertility diagnosis and tubal patency as well the treatment of benign conditions that can affect your fertility such as endometriosis, uterine polyps and fibroids, ovarian cysts and pelvic adhesions.

Since qualifying as a specialist he has worked in both public practice for the Royal Women’s Hospital and Eastern Health and in private practice at Cabrini, Epworth, Waverley and Holmesglen Hospitals.

Colin believes in the importance of providing continuity of care and will see you throughout your fertility journey and onwards to antenatal visits, delivery of your baby and postnatal care.
