Dr Alan Cheng

Dr Alan Cheng is a fully certified Gynaecologist and Obstetricia,n and is currently in the final stages of obtaining her Fertility Specialist accreditation with Monash IVF.

Alan believes in truly walking alongside you. His approach is simple: offer expert medical care within a kind, honest partnership where patients always feel heard, respected and supported.

A graduate of James Cook University with first class Honours, Alan completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology and gained broad experience across major hospitals in New South Wales and Queensland. He is currently a Staff Specialist at Sunnybank Private Hospital and has developed a special focus on unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage and fertility preservation. Alan also consults privately from Southside Obgyn at Holland Park.

What Alan loves most about this work is building genuine relationships and helping people navigate what can be an emotional and deeply personal time. He is passionate about sharing knowledge and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Queensland where he finds great joy in supporting the next generation of doctors and contributing to advancing women's health.

Above all, Alan believes that your fertility journey is uniquely yours. He takes the time to understand your story, answer your questions in plain language, and gently guide you towards the choices that feel right for you. It's never a one-size-fits-all approach – it's about providing the best science has to offer, wrapped in genuine warmth and unwavering respect.
