Meet Miriam

Dr Miriam Lee graduated from medicine from the University of Queensland in 1991. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various hospitals in Queensland including the Gold Coast, Mater Mothers’, QEII, Logan, and Caboolture. Her final years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology training were completed at King Edward Hospital, Perth. There she gained skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery, assisted reproductive technology (fertility treatment), and general gynaecology.

Miriam has worked in all areas of fertility treatment with over 20 years of experience. She has been helping women start a family on the Gold Coast since 2004. She was the first female gynaecologist practising solely in fertility treatment and gynaecology on the Gold Coast. She is very passionate about all aspects of fertility and has an excellent rapport with her patients. Miriam proudly treats her patients from her new Gold Coast clinic – Focus Fertility Preservation – providing a more personalised, boutique experience throughout their entire conception journey.

Providing preventative care and support for fertility health is what Miriam enjoys most about her practice.

Miriam has a special interest in vulvo-vaginal disorders, minimally invasive surgery, endometrial ablation, vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence, and ovulatory disfunction like PCOS. Treatment is tailored to the individual patient need. Miriam also offers consultations in Cantonese.
