Ultrasound North is the latest addition to Monash IVF Group’s clinical footprint in Western Australia, following the establishment of Monash IVF in West Leederville during 2023, enabling patients to access coordinated care from preconception through to pregnancy within a connected network.
Located in Joondalup, Ultrasound North provides dedicated gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound services, supported by advanced technology and a highly experienced team of sonographers and specialist doctors. The service is focused on core ultrasound diagnostics, ensuring a clear and complementary role within the broader Monash IVF Group network.
This investment is strengthened by the established tertiary-trained service in West Leederville, which has been operating since June 2025. The West Leederville team offers a full range of advanced diagnostic services and procedures and works closely to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
With Monash IVF West Leederville Fertility Specialist and Sonologist Dr Seonaid Mulroy on board, the clinic has quickly become a popular choice for patients and referring clinicians, reflecting growing demand for accessible, connected and high-level care.
Monash IVF Group CEO Dr Victoria Atkinson said the combined services represent a significant step forward in delivering a more seamless patient experience.

Ultrasound North has been supporting patients across women’s health, fertility and pregnancy since 2009, building a strong reputation for quality and patient-focused care.
With this move, Monash IVF Group has welcomed a team of nine experienced sonographers, and patient services staff, along with specialist reporting doctors Dr Kym Jones and Dr Chhaya Mehrotra.
Dr Seonaid Mulroy said the focus at Ultrasound North will be on continuing to enhance services that complement the full range of tertiary-level care.
“Ultrasound North’s next phase of growth will focus on expanding access to advanced diagnostics and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centred care,” Dr Mulroy said.
“We are continuing to evolve our services at Ultrasound North to meet the needs of patients.
“This includes plans to introduce additional diagnostic and screening services such as Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPT), Reproductive Carrier Screening and specialised gynaecological procedures – as available at our West Leederville clinic.”
