Meet Virochana

Dr Virochana Kaul is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist experienced in general obstetrics and gynecology, and special interest in laparoscopic surgery, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is a VMO consultant obstetrics and gynecology in Box Hill Hospital and consults privately at Richmond, North Park Private Hospital Bundoora, Mitcham and Boronia.

Virochana underwent her early medical and formative Obstetrics and Gynecology training at a premier institute in India. She finished her training with honors and attained accreditation with the Royal College UK and subsequently she attained the FRANZCOG in Australia. She has also completed her fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery with SAGES USA.

She is pursuing her Masters in reproductive endocrinology which testifies to her continued commitment to the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility and to gain insights and academic excellence. With more than 15 years' of exposure to obstetrics and gynecology, Virochana’s area of interests include: high risk obstetrics, gynecological surgeries especially laparoscopy, management of infertility, recurrent miscarriage, ovulation induction, IVF and reproductive surgery, especially advanced reproductive hysteroscopy, management of endometriosis and heavy bleeding.

She offers personalised care in achieving pregnancy through to delivery. She also has a keen interest in research, teaching and auditing. She has presented in both national and international fertility conferences and is involved in a number of research projects. She has worked across several continents and proved to be an efficient, adaptable and excellent doctor and brings nearly two decades of successful and proven experience across varied cultural demographics and environments.

Dr Kaul brings with her extensive experience in almost all aspects of patient knowledge, compassion, efficiency and multiculturalism.
