Meet Precious

Dr Precious Lusumbami is a specialist in Fertility and Gynaecology, practicing at Monash IVF Sunshine Coast.

Precious has a special interest in women’s health and actively advocates for her patients. She believes in patient choice and offers a holistic approach to the care she provides to her patients.

After completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees with Honours from the University of Zimbabwe in 2000, Precious travelled to England where she gained valuable experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology working in various Greater London NHS hospitals.

Precious then relocated to Australia and completed her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Queensland at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. She has also previously worked at the Redland and Cairns public hospitals, providing care to patients in remote areas – including Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands.

Precious completed her Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales while completing her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training. She now calls the Sunshine Coast home. She is the Queensland Representative in the RANZCOG Private Practice Committee and have previously served as a member of the Queensland Government Domestic and Family Violence Expert Advisory Group.
