Dr Nicholas Lolatgis (Retired)
After more than 40 years in fertility medicine, Dr Nick Lolatgis retired in June 2026. Throughout his remarkable career, Nick dedicated himself to patients navigating some of the most complex fertility challenges, pioneering the investigation and treatment of immunological causes of recurrent miscarriage and implantation failure. We thank him for his extraordinary contribution and wish him a truly well-earned rest.
During a career-long association with Monash IVF, his special achievements included investigating revolutionary IVF technologies, pioneering advanced laparoscopic surgery for women, and leading research into the causes of infertility and recurrent miscarriage - most notably the role of the immune system in infertility and implantation failure.
