Meet Katie

Dr Taylor is a Queensland trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Following Medical School, Katie decided to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after seeing the difference she could make in women’s lives. She then went on to train at the University of Queensland (UQ), Ipswich Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Gold Coast Hospital, and the Flying O&G Service.

Based in Ipswich, Katie regularly attending surgical audits, case review meetings, and conferences to ensure her knowledge and skills are up-to-date. She has a particular interest in the management of:

• Infertility
• Menstrual disorders
• Pelvic pain disorders
• Endometriosis
• Contraception - including Implanon, Kyleena, and Mirena
• Medical disorders in pregnancy
• High and low-risk obstetrics
• Diabetes in pregnancy (both pre-existing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and also gestational diabetes)
• Laparoscopic surgery
