Meet Elizabeth

Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Jackson is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with Monash IVF in Cairns.

Her education began with a Medicine Degree from Monash University and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology. Liz then went on to complete additional training in Fertility with a Masters of Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology (University of New South Wales) as well as a Masters of Minimally Invasive Surgery (University of Adelaide). Impressively, Liz was the first robotically certified operating gynaecologist in North Queensland.

Liz has a keen interest in women's health and a dedication to providing a multidisciplinary approach to reproductive care. She offers a very broad range of treatments covering many aspects of women’s health, including the management of menstrual disorders, abnormal pap smears, prolapse, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fertility concerns and obstetrics.

She has special interest in fertility and operative gynaecology, such as the polyps, fibroids and endometriosis – regularly managing gynaecological surgical requirements such as laparoscopies for endometriosis.

Patients will appreciate Liz's honesty, her down-to-earth approach and her unique and personalised care when undergoing fertility treatment.
