Meet Ashish

Dr Ashish Das is an experienced doctor with over 30 years of clinical practice dedicated exclusively to the management of infertility. He has been proudly helped couples, single women, and the LGBTIQ+ community realise their dream of achieving a family, both in Australia and the UK.

Ashish is a well-respected Fertility Specialist who is experienced in investigating and treating all forms of infertility, including recurrent miscarriage and endometriosis. His treatment options are tailored to the individual needs and planned in discussion with his patients. These options can range from simple, practical advice and cycle monitoring to ovulation induction and more complex treatments such as intrauterine insemination, IVF, and the use of donor sperm and eggs with or without surrogacy.

He is also an experienced minimally invasive surgeon providing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic general gynaecology surgery.

Understanding the emotional impact infertility can have, Ashish provides empathetic and compassionate care for his patients. He has dedicated his career to supporting regional families on their journey to parenthood, making treatment accessible regardless of where they live.

Ashish strongly believes that it is essential to have a team approach between patient services, the laboratory, nursing staff, and clinician to complete the fertility journey for his patients – he is proud to be a part of the Monash IVF team, which has a long history of pioneering achievements in IVF.

As a British-trained, Australian-qualified specialist doctor of Indian heritage, Ashish brings a wealth of experience to his work with patients. He was a founding Director of a large IVF company in Australia from 2003 to 2018 and has served on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Brisbane Private Hospital for over 12 years. Ashish was also a member of the IVF Directors Group of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand. Ashish has also previously been invited to be an accredited Royal Australian Army gynaecologist, and he was a medical examiner and teacher at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, and Bond University, Gold Coast.
