Felix-ICSI Clinical Study
Importantly, your treatment will not be negatively impacted. If you choose to participate, you will still receive the best standard of care available with Monash IVF Group.

What is involved in the study?
This study is in addition to your normal fertility care. If you and the person you are attempting to conceive a child with agree to participate and are eligible for the study, half of the semen provided will be processed using the new study device and the other half processed using the current, standard method. Half of the harvested oocytes will be fertilised using sperm from the current, standard method and the other half will be fertilised using sperm from the new method. The clinic staff will then be blinded as to which eggs were fertilised with the current, standard method and which ones were fertilised using the new method which means when they can’t be biased when selecting the very best fertilised oocytes to implant and/or freeze for you.
To participate, you will need to sign an informed consent form and provide screening information (including medical history and current medications) in a 30-minute interview.
Who’s eligible for the study?
Patients who are due to have an IVF procedure with Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) using fresh samples are eligible, as long as they are between the ages of 18 and 43.
