The power of positive thinking
Science has proven that every cell in our body responds to our thoughts. Studies have shown that if a person thinks ‘I feel anxious’ then a sequence of events occurs within the body in response to that thought – heart racing, perspiration, tightness in chest, etc. However, when people in the study were given positive words to repeat when they were actually feeling anxious the body responded by slowing the heart rate and calming the nervous system. Pretty important to understand that we have such control over how our body and mind function in given situations. Thoughts are powerful!
Staying in a positive mindset may not come naturally when you’re trying to become pregnant with negative results over and over. Being guarded is one thing, but being pessimistic is another. Try to remember that your body is doing the best that it can. Be kind to yourself and pamper your body by having massages, dry brushing or exfoliating and show it respect. Feed it well and keep flexible by doing yoga and walking. Your health is everything. Some people are dealt illness too early in life, and to have a healthy body is a blessing. So please remember, on this physically and emotionally draining journey of becoming pregnant, that you stay focused on the goal whilst feeling gratitude for what you have.
We wish you success and good health!
